What’s on around Norfolk
Your local voice
Amber Radio is local radio for Norwich and Norfolk – by local people. We’re here to fill a local radio void and bring real local radio back to the city, with classic hits around the clock, national and local news and information to keep you up to date, and some of the area’s best broadcasters back on the air.
Amber is owned and run by experienced radio people from the area as a not-for-profit venture, so for us, like you, what happens locally really matters.
Back, and ready to make its name again
The new Amber is named after the station that was a success on local airwaves in the 1990s, before large, nationally based groups gradually took control of the UK’s local commercial radio. As well as great music, we keep you in touch with what’s happening in the city and county – news, weather, sport and events for the area, from the area.
